2006
The Beginnings of MJ Group – How the Company Was Born
MJ Group Sp. z o.o. was born from two great passions – industrial automation and travel. Its founders, Marek Ilnicki and Janusz Rudnicki, met while working at Siemens as automation and robotics programmers. Already then, they knew they wanted more – to develop modern technologies and pursue their dream of working on international markets. The breakthrough came in Dubai, where Marek and Janusz worked on an automation project for the industrial sector. Inspired by the region’s rapid growth and international environment, they conceived the idea of their own company operating globally, without boundaries. In 2006, they made their dream come true by founding MJ Group, with a mission to deliver innovative automation and robotics technologies worldwide.
2010
Growth and Expansion of MJ Group
Initially, MJ Group was based in Katowice, where the company began cooperation with Siemens as an official business partner. Rapid growth led to hiring specialists and delivering larger projects. One of the first key clients was in the lime and stone processing industry in Saudi Arabia – a milestone that earned MJ Group its reputation as a reliable supplier of comprehensive industrial solutions. Over the years, the company expanded its operations. The headquarters moved to Wrocław, the founders’ hometown, while Katowice remained a key branch. To optimize logistics, an auxiliary warehouse was also opened in Nysa.

New Growth Perspectives
The year 2025 marked another milestone in MJ Group’s history. Szymon Dolata joined the management board, bringing fresh perspectives on business growth and international expansion. His experience and innovative approach opened new opportunities in industrial automation, production digitization, and integration of Industry 4.0 and IoT-based systems.
